A Disney Themed Wedding

There’s a lot of time and effort that goes into creating a magical feel when you walk into the wedding room where the reception is about to take place but here at Fund Your Wedding, we’ve found a real easy way to exude magic and excitement that’s perfect for children and adults alike.

Why not incorporate the best of Disney into your big day? What better way to create a magical atmosphere that will have your guests talking for many more years to come.

Firstly, let’s start off with the wedding entertainment. Photo booths are hugely popular because they create such an amazing atmosphere and it’s an easy way to get everyone interacting and laughing with one another in no time! This is one of the most easiest ways to incorporate Disney into your big day with Disney props. We love this idea because these props will resonate with all your wedding guests.

Now for the wedding favours, we absolutely love these poisoned apples. Perfect for an Autumnal wedding.

If you don’t like the idea of poisoning your wedding guests, perhaps giving your guests sugared almonds is a safer alternative, coupled with a sign saying ‘A spoon full of sugar’ this is an adorable gesture that is bound to go down a treat but be warned, your guests might not be able to get the Mary Poppins soundtrack out of their heads.

Signage is everything. It’s a very simple way to add magic, excitement and meaning to your big day.

Signs are so effective and they will really help you to create the wedding theme you desire.

This Beauty and the Beast inspired centerpiece is just the perfect way to showcase your Disney theme. It exudes sophistication and class and is, in our opinion, the perfect touch.

Talking about Beauty and the Beast, remember the magic mirror which was gifted to Beauty so she could see what she desired? Well, who doesn’t want to see what they’re having for food! We think this is a great way to display your menus.

And what about a Beauty and the Beast guestbook to match…

Talking about Guestbooks, we absolutely love this idea! After years of marriage, many couples will tell you that they have only ever looked at their wedding guestbook on one or two occasions so instead of having your guests write their well wishes in a book, why not get your guests to come up with a little adventure for you to embark on in married life. This is a keepsake and something you will treasure forever.  This Disney inspired ‘Adventure Book’ from ‘Up’ is just perfect.

Again, we absolutely love this ‘Disney – Up’ inspired jar. Obviously he wanted to embark on an adventure to Paradise Falls but why not come up with your own adventure.

For the flower arrangements, why not have them shaped like Mickey or Minnie mouse. We think these look so adorable.

And now for what everyone looks forward to (after they’ve watched you take your vows, of course) … The wedding cake! This fairy dust wedding cake is the perfect way to add magic and sparkle to your big day.

But if you’re going all out, this Alice In Wonderland themed wedding cake by Kasserina Cakes will be a talking point among your guests for many years to come.

Talking about Alice In Wonderland, why not recreate this drinks, add some alcohol and who knows, your guests might just feel 10 feet taller afterwards.

There are hundreds of ways to incorporate Disney into your big day whilst creating a sense of magic and excitement such as wearing Cinderella inspired shoes, having Disney inspired buttonholes or if you wanted to carry the theme into your honeymoon, why not book a trip to Disneyland Paris, you’re bound to have a whale of a time! Whatever you do, have a whole lot of fun coming up with ways to incorporate this theme into your big day.
