How many guests:

How did you and your partner meet?
We met at World Square. I was selling rings and he was walking by during his lunch break. At first, he walked past my stall and turned around and said hi. Then he bought me one of the rings I was selling. It was a sterling silver piece with mother of pearls, it only cost $20 but this is how it started.
How did he propose?
He proposed while we were going for a walk in Hyde Park. It wasn’t a public proposal which is perfect, I don’t like to make a scene whether it be a proposal or a birthday.
What do you love most about your partner?
He resonates with me on a soul level.
What’s your most important piece of advice for creating and maintaining a strong relationship?
We have been together for almost a decade and now we are new parents. We’ve been together for quite a while but a baby throws a whole new challenge. I would say stay kind to each other and know that you don’t always have to be in love 100% of the time. It’s normal and it’s okay. In order to persevere together in the long term, you have to go beyond love, marriage or companionship. There’s something much beyond and we haven’t found the right term yet.
Tell us about your wedding gown and how you chose it?
Had a garden wedding so I wanted something simple, elegant and comfy. The dress was exactly that. To be honest i settled for a second choice, my first preference was something in Double Bay but it was quadruple the price.
What sort of style did you envision for your wedding day?
Court of Roses and Thorns – Court of Roses and Thorns is a book by Sarah J Maas. I wanted to do eleven forest theme but it was too much work so it ended up just being garden themed.
What was your favorite moment from the day?
When I peeked out at reception from my hidey room and find people starting to gather around, sitting around enjoying the pre-drinks.
