Fairytale Wedding Dresses

Here at Fund Your Wedding, we fell in love with this fairytale inspired wedding dress from Ben de Lisi. After all, who wouldn’t want to feel like a princess on their big day! In fact, the dress (which reminded us of the classic Cinderella) inspired us to write up an entire blog post on our top fairytale wedding dresses. This dress being the first … Obviously!

1. Cinderella

2. Rapunzel (Tangled) Blush pink is in and very popular amongst budding brides! To create this princess look, add a blush pink veil and wear with simple natural looking make up. You can find similar dresses from the designer Sherri Hill from Molly Browns.

3. Belle (Beauty and the Beast)We adore this beautifully embroidered dress from Sherri Hill. How could you not feel like a princess wearing a gown like this! Gone are the days where you are tied to choosing the ‘traditional’ white gown, although we love traditional gowns at Fund Your Wedding, it means that you can be as bold and as daring as you like based on your own personal style and taste. This dress was made by Mori Lee and you can find more of his dresses over at Molly Browns.

5. Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
Imagine wearing this dress as you take to the stand to dance your first dance as husband and wife. Oh, it’s just like the film! So elegant, it exudes princess -ness! Natural looking make up would work best with such a bold colour, just add a blush pink veil and you’re away to go! Made by Mori Lee and you can find more of his dresses over at Molly Browns.

So, there you have it, a fairytale inspired blog and all the featured dresses were under £800! Remember, these days, anything goes so you can be as bold, as colourful or as daring as you like. We grew up watching these princesses getting married and have probably dreamt about this moment for many years, it’s the one day you get to feel like a princess so why not have the dress to match!
